RIDGE Provides Computers for Cle-Elum/Roslyn School District

October 2, 2004
Roslyn, WA

For the 2004 school year the Walter Strom Middle School has received 28 computers for student use courtesy of the local citizens group RIDGE. Boardmember Myke Woodwell was able to facilitate the donation through his association with Kenworth Truck Company. The computers, Dell 610 and 620 Workstations, were used by the design engineers at the Kirkland based Heavy Truck manufacturer to create and assemble 3D solid component models of their popular W900 and T2000 Class 8 trucks. Dan Leavitt, Technology Director at Walter Strom, was able to create 2 new computer labs for students to access the server-based reading program.

RIDGE and Kenworth are glad to assist the students and staff of the Cle Elum/Roslyn School District with this digital donation.

For more information contact Myke Woodwell at 509-649-3975 or 425-828-5740.
